slot A/goldfinger/help

hi all,slot a,msi(6195)mb,600mhz.anyone there thats had experiance taking that box off the cpu?does the gldf have to stay on the cpu after using it?what are my chances?im a novice here.ive put the fsb to 112 which gives 672mhz stable so far.any advise how to work with the gldf?do i have to cut a hole in the box?im trying to get the superbypass to work at the moment.northbridge 751.any help is greatfull.temp is 36 at the time being.
