Sloow DSL ??

I was wondering why my dsl downloads start out at 199kpbs then quickly fall to 40kbps about 10 sec. into the download. I am paying for basic DSL at 384k and realize that 40kbps is about right, but hey, if there is any way to increase the speed I'd like to try it. I'm at the end of the dsl trunk, so I can't get enhanced 1.5M service.

Any suggestions?

The biggie number is a Mathematical Mirage.

The High number that appears at the beginning at the Download is a result of how the browser starts to sample the speed and averages the result.

40KB/sec. from a 384Kb/sec. is ?Super?.
