Sloooow reformatting

I'm reformatting my hard drive. I've run fdisk and am now waiting for the hard drive to rerformat. Its been about 10 hours and it has only reached 13%. Don't think it should take this long.

Try running a diagnostic test on the drive. Preferably one from the manufacturer, all the major drive companies have downloadable ones. Sounds to me like your drive crapped out, time for RMA.

just kidding.

try runnign it again, maybe someing jsut screwed up that 1 time. or try running diag software like was said. if that fails time to make a phone call.
