quick poll... which brand slocket should I get for the best overclocking results?

Abit
Iwill
Asus

I have a p3v4x on the way and may need to get a slocket converter... any help would be appreciated.

thanks :)

A lot of people, me included, have had excellent results with the MSI MS 6905. I had a Cel566@850 and have a PIII700@933 on one.

I have had no problems with the Abit, I have heard the early ones were a bit flaky.

Another vote for the MSI slotket over here. Got my celeron II 600@900 on a P3V4X with no problems.

Abit I've got 4 of them and they OC very easy. I've also heard a lot of people have had trouble with them, but I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. :)

Asus S370-133 is good, has jumpers for Celeron/PentiumIII
and VCore adjustments too. It worked flawlessly for me when I had it in use.

MSI, Asus, and Abit all perform well now. The early Abits were flaky but those issues have been resolved. My favorite, and the favorite from my customers is the MSI 6905 Master Verion 2.
