I was wandering if a slocket would work with a celeron II on a Tekram LX board. It makes sense in my mind fcpga to slot 1 adapter, 66 mhz(or 75) fsb. Anyone know if this would work? I'd like to get one of those $30 boards and an $80 celeron 600. :) For RC5 of course

It should work fine. I'd pick up and ABIT Slotket III from www.mwave.com or any other place that sells them, then set the voltage on the slotket to 1.5, and the jumper for ppga or fcpga, set that to fcpga, and set the bus speed to 66mhz. It should work, but im not sure if that motherboard would would support the low voltage of 1.5 volts, but its worth a try.

the newer version abit slotket is not as stable or good for overclocking as the asus or MSI. I highly recommend the msi slotket. www.onvia.com has them, but you have to wait until they have stock and buy quickly before they run out.
