What is the significance of the 3 pin blue/black fan cable running out from the PSU? Thanks :)

No, all that plug will allow you to do is monitor the PSU fan speed from the BIOS. The PSU that comes with the 3700BQE only has one output fun, and tends to run very quiet, of course making it warmer since it doesn't push as much air.

I am just worried because my CPU temps are also very hot (50-60' C) and I was thinking it was because the CPU is so close to the PSU. Silentpcreview said that the PSU for my case was actually quiet AND cool. I just don't know why it feels so warm :(

I have the same case, upgraded the PSU and the air runs very warm. Have you added an intake fan to your case? If not that will help with your temps quite a bit.

thanks dogg, I think i'll order a Vantec Stealth along with my new Arctic Cooling HSF combo. :) I hope that helps because 60' C for a CPU and a PSU that warm make me nervous:confused:

I would rather get a better CPU heatsink than adding an intake fan. Get a Zalman CNPS7000A-AlCu and leave out the intake fan. That will help your CPU temps more and you will have a quieter system for the same price.
