Case-Mod.com had a sweet deal on this heatsink, w/ a 92mm panaflo for $29.99, so I jumped on it, thinking it could be used for Socket A. After doing further reading, I was wrong, it's a Socket 754/939/940/p4 heat sink. Can it be mounted on a socket A board?

Without modding, no. With modding, you can mount just about anything onto a CPU depending on how much elbow grease and money you invest.

Cats make great heatsinks.
