SLK-900U & IC7-MAX3 fit? Yay or Nay?

Anyone have any first hand experience with this heatsink on this board? I don't want to pop in my new board and then find out the heatsink doesn't fit because of the OTES or something.. And BTW: I know the 900U's base isn't big enough to cover the P4 IHS, but I emailed Thermalright and said the temperature differences between it and a 947 are negligible.

Yea, thanks Riz The 947 is shortened length wise and was widened to fit on more motherboards.

I went to Abit's forums and looked around, it probably won't fit, either that or it'll be scraping the OTES, or I have to mill of some of the fins.. Better start lookin for a 947..

I have an SP-94 on my IC7-max3, so yours should fit.
