slk 900u = happy

a 23lb ( 😉 ) box arrived today w/a thermalright slk 900u + an 80mm vantec tornado in it.

i just applied as3 an hour ago and slapped that bad larry in there w/the clips, not the bolts... figured i'd see the temp dif attaching it the easy way first...

my temps are at least 3-4°c less than with my thermaltake spark7 jet engine!!! and when the as3 settles, perhaps 5-7°c less 😀

this fan is loud... but at a much better + lower pitch than the spark7... i am getting a rheostat soon for my sanity + future auditory happiness...

I was going to say, that seems a little optimistic. I personaly have never seen a drop in temp after it "settled"

I have seen drops in temps of 1-2 C thats it though....

i'll be using water to cool this puppy for that kinda drop in temps... just wishin!

ive definately seen drops of 2°c after a couple days or so...
