slk-800u install help

Hey there,

I've just recieved my slk800u and will be installing it within the coming week. However, as I previewed the situation, I'm a little unsure of the procedure.

I have an Epox 8rda+ mobo, so I've definitely got the mounting holes there. However, it seems I need to screw some offsets into my mobo tray underneath these holes so that I can screw the hs down. Unfortunately, I don't have any [threaded] holes for doing so in my tray. Worse yet, I can't even drill holes on the left side because there is a gaping hole in the tray (for ventilation, I assume).

Another difficulty I foresee is that the slk800-provided offsets are considerably taller than the default mobo ones. Problem? It would seem so. Should I send back the 800u and just get an 800a? Could I simply use a small bolt on the underside of the mobo? I'm guessing that I just am not approaching this the right way, so any advice would be appreciated.

Finally, just to formalize it: those insulating cardboard washers - do they go between the screw-head and the mobo, or between the mobo and the standoffs?

Thanks for all the advice!
