Which would be better for OCing a Barton 2500+? I want to have low noise, so I'd probably use a 30 dB fan on the SLK.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

The aero 7 can't beat an sk7. No, it does not compare with an slk800. ;)

Any quick recommendations for fans that would give me a good balance between noise and airflow?

Thanks,

It depends on your definition of quiet. For most the adjustable smartfan2 gets quiet enough to where you can't notice it over the other computer noise. The panaflo L1a is just a better quality fan and is quieter. allelectronics.com for the panaflo, svc.com for the smartfan2

The noise from Thermaltake SmartFan2 (with SK-7) is unnoticeable 2600 rpm or below in my Sonata. Although if you turn all the way up (up to 4800), it is very very noisy. I heard Panaflo is quiet, but it doesn't move a lot of air. Anyone tried Antec SmartCool yet?

I don't necessarily need silent. I need a fan that will push decent CFM without being TOO loud. I'm sorta leaning towards the Smart Fan II right now because it's flexible.
