Slipstreaming XP SP3???

Just curious if this is doable yet.......or.......maybe just d/l SP3 and use an SP2 install immediately followed by SP3 disc to achieve the same (albeit more time consuming) result??

TIA

yes you can slipstream xp sp3. you do it the same way as sp2. or an even easier way is to use nlite , it will allow you to slipstream the sp3 and make the bootable cd all at once. has some other features too.

I have an original XP Home (retail) CD with SP1. Can I slipstream in SP2, then add SP3 on top of it?

Or do I just go straight from SP1 > SP3?

Service Packs supersede each other so you'd download SP3.

Thanks, I was just concerned about the message I found on here: http://www.helpwithwindows.com...XP_Service_Pack_3.html

" You cannot slipstream SP3 into an original Windows XP CD or an XP with SP1 CD. Slipstreaming SP3 will only work with an XP + SP2 CD. Others have suggested that slipstreaming with an SP1 integrated CD does work. "

tcsenter, did you slipstream SP3 onto a SP1 CD?

You can find XP SP3 copies ready to burn on torrents and usenet. As long as you use your legit key I see nothing wrong with using them.
