Slipstreaming Windows 2000

Since we are able to easily slipstream SP3 into Windows 2000 is it possible to slipstream other components as well? I would like to be able to slipstream IE6 and DX8 into Windows 2000 so I don't have to add them after I install Windows. Is this at all possible? Any help is appreciated.

Ok, this has been bothering me.

I've never heard anyone use the word "slipstream" except for here at Anandtech. What the hell is it?

Basically what you are doing is altering the files so that they are updated and what you end up with is a OS cd with all the updates (or what ever it is that you put in it).

As far as slipstreaming IE6, you cannot do it the same way you would do a service pack. Instead you would do it like a OEM install (that's not the correct term but I can't think of the correct one). Basically it's like creating an unattended install.
