Slipstreaming SP2 and Windows XP

I used to be able to bypass the wnidows 2000 serial when I slipstreamed SP4. Can this be done with Windows XP? Yes, I do have a legitimate copy.

Yes, you can. You have to put it in the right text file (can't remember which).


As a note, this slipstreams the numbers in, but you still require activation unless you have a VL edition of the disk

Try using nLite. It allows you to add/remove features, slipstream and more into new bootable WinXP install. I think I remember see that feature in the program.

You suggest that over nLite? Was just about to make one of my own so I can reformat before I get a bunch of new hardware.

I'ved Used NLite for my slipstreaming of XP and making an Unattended answer file for it. Easy and concise.
