I am going to slipstream SP2 and windowsXP pro but was wondering if it was possible to add other programs to the slipstream as well such as an antivirus and firewall?

Or is the easiest way just to install all separately and then ghost the drive to make a cleam install ghost??

Hi,

I think you aswered your own question. The only way to add applications to a clean install is to use a program to produce a bootable image of a custom working configuration - such as ghost.

Good luck,

If you consider the alternatives - it's pretty easy to image an installation!

Good luck,

Rut's this Raggy? :D

Got mine set up really nicely, with the hacked UxTheme, extra themes, fixed max connections through tcpip.sys, registry tweaks up the yin yang, etc., etc.. Fun stuff :D Imaging is easier though, I agree.

If you follow the format from the website PilotronX has linked to
You will find it a very simple matter to customize your CD any way you want.
Their is a pdf document at that site which details everything you need to know
and even directs you to any necessary applications.
