this was the error i got after i installed and tried to run CDRWin 3.8

Does anyone know how to fix this?

I am trying to slipstream SP2 into Windows 2000 but came across this problem... the instructions i am following are at this site: http://www.bink.nu/Bootcd/default.htm

Easy one. Windows 2000 doesnt come with a built in aspi layer. Two choices, Install adaptecs aspi layer which might or might not kill your system or use Nero's aspi layer.

Nero's is simply a small dll that you can get here ftp://ftp.nero.com/wnaspi32.dll Its free and works perfectly with no install needed...

There is also two options on where to put the file. You could put in the main directory of the program that needs it or put in in system directory under WINNT. All applications look there by default and placing the file in there will eliminate the need for duplicating the file in other areas if running multiple applications that require an aspi layer.

Thats it
