Friend and I are building a new rig, I just want to know whether it's worth slipstreaming the Dual Core fixes into the XPSP2 disc we're making?

It's a 3800+ X2, on a DFI Ultra-D. Already slipstreaming in the RAID drivers, can we integrate the dual core fix somehow?

Or does XP SP2 recognise dual cores if it's a fresh install? Like 2k Pro For example :)

I'm not sure how you'll get the regedit in there though. Might want to save a registry file that you can just merge after the fact.
