What's upsetting is the fact that last night I was listening to my new Nile CD (death metal for those of you who don't know) and my father came in and started talking to me. When he asked what I was listening to, and I said Nile, and that it was the heaviest music I'd ever heard, he scoffed and said, "This is heavy? Don't you have any Slipknot?" I sighed and shook my head.
I just can't take any band that wears masks seriously. It's a stretch to take those black metal goofs who wear corpse paint seriously, but Slipknot's even worse. The only good thing I can say is that Joey is a pretty good drummer and People = Sh|t is a good song.
