Slip-streaming individual updates?

After installing Windows XP with SP2 integrated (via slip-streaming), there [currently] are 22 outstanding updates to download when I check Windows Update. On top of that, there are four or five more updates to patch flaws in the updates. 😕

Is there a way to slip-stream or apply these smaller updates to the installation files, to keep my XP Install CD up to date with the latest and greatest patches? TIA!

All of the patches after SP2 should support the /integrate: option, which will do the same thing as slipstreaming. To do this, try:

KB123456 /integrate:c:\path\to\i386\directory

Obviously replace the KB123456 with the update and the path with the correct path to your i386 folder. Once you integrate all of these, recreate your installation cd and you should be all set.

Thanks! It will be nice to install WinXP with all current updates integrated and have Windows Update report 'No updates at this time'. It was like that after SP2....for about a week. 😕
