I'm looking for a slimline drive with a motorized tray loading mechanism. I need something that can be fitted to this case.

I've never seen one, kinda doubt it, I don't think there's enough room in there for a motor.
What's wrong with the regular ones?

They won't fit.
If you had looked at the link, you woul dsee the case will only take slimline drives.

Yeah, with "regular ones" I meant drives that just spring eject(or whatever you wanna call it).

I'd be using the machine as an HTPC, and something about a spring-ejecting optical drive doesn't sit well with me. Slot loading drives might be alright, but I'd much rather have a motorized tray for some reason. (There's something about hearing that motor whir when the tray is opening/closing that I like)

No room for the mechanism. But there is a slot-loader on the bottom of the same page you linked to in your post. Why not just get a case that holds a full-size drive (Ahanix fer instance)? Some of those LaScalas are a PITA to work in.
