Slim Tower Video Card

I have a Dell Slim Tower. I thought I had a pci slot because my slot looks like the PCI picture here.

So, I bought this video card for an additional output w/ a low profile bracket

The bracket will fit, but the part where I plug the card into the mother board doesn't fit. The little section closer to the bracket is a lil big for the mother board.

Do I not have a PCI slot in my computer? Is it something else? It looks really simlar to the PCI slot in the link above.

The newer (the last year or so) Dell slim towers (Inspiron or Vostro) use a Foxconn board with a PCI-E slot. They also have PCI slots, so you should be able to use the card if you have one of the newer models. The PCI-E is a black slot, and the regular PCI are white.
