Slim PC Video Card Upgrade ??

Hello,

My nephew has a HP slimline PC s5123w-b (specs).
He is wanting to upgrade the video card to be able to play some games.
From what I can tell from the specs and from the manual that I downloaded from HP is it could take a half height PCIE x16 graphics card.
Also it only has a 220w psu so I'm thinking he would need a card that doest require an extra power connection.

What is the best half height card that he could use in his PC?

It will have to be a fairly low power card otherwise you'll have to upgrade the PSU. I think you should be able to handle a 4350.

That card comes with the lowprofile backplate so you will be able to switch it out easly.

mpilchfamily, that's a good price on that 4650. I noticed it is a 64 bit card..does that make much of a difference compared to a 128 bit card?

0roo0roo, a dremel and duck tape will fix just about anything lol
