Slim DVD-size cases - good source for 100+ ?

My favorite blank media and jewel case store (rima.com) doesn't stock slim DVD cases, so I'm looking for another source. I'd prefer black with the outside transparent sleeve for the front/back art. These are the same size as regular DVD cases (so the DVD art can be transferred) but the spine is half as thick.

My collection is taking up way too much room, so it's time to order some slim cases to save space. I figure I'm never going to sell my CDs and DVDs, so why keep the double-thick standard CD and DVD cases?

I don't want binders since these are all orginals and I've read the binders don't protect as well as the cases do.

I bought a stack of 25 slim line cases today at Big Lots of all places, for $3.99. It's the cheap Khypermedia brand. Black with the clear shell. No paper inserts though.

Not sure if you meant the standard size that DVD movies come in or the slim-line cases for CD-Rs.

Thanks for the replies, I've edited my post to be clear I'm looking for slim DVD sized not slim CD (rima has a good price on slim CD, $12/100).

Hi,

A bit off topic, but I was just wondering.. What exactly is a "cello bag" and can you use a slim CD case for a DVD -- does it fit?

Ciao.

DVDs and CDs are exactly the same size, so yes you can use regular, double, or slim CD cases for DVDs. A binder / wallet too, but DVDs are more sensitive to scratches.

I'd use CD cases, but my DVDs are originals not burned copies, so I want to transfer the art from the outside of the existing DVD cases, and it's much taller than a CD case.

Cello = cellophane = very thin, flexible plastic film.
