I read that it's recommend to stick with GTX 780's with the reference cooler if going SLI. I might buy a GTX 780 FTW, depending on how the upcoming R290X performs. Also their might be a small chance that I might buy a 2nd GTX 780 for SLI at some point in the future. Will I have overheating problems inside my case with 2 GTX 780's FTW cards in SLI if there is about 1cm of space between them.
Am I better off buying one with a reference cooler if there is a chance that I will go SLI in the future even though it's not much cheaper than the factory overclocked cards with the 3rd party coolers?
