Rig is in sig, this problem started a month ago or so, my display started having a tint of red and when I restart it would go away, but not it doesn't until I move the entire computer. I have to keep shifting the computer left and right until it becomes normal for a couple of hours, in the process the colour gets worse and worse.

The comp is very cool so its not an overheating problem, anyone else know of this?

what monitor do you have? as SonicIce, said, if it's a CRT it may be dying. is the monitor using a VGA cable? i so, double check that the connection is good. is there anything that may be causing EM interference in the area?

I work on laptops all day, in my experience with a red tint on an LCD screen it is usually the first signs of the backlight beginning to fail. I believe the backlights are more or less just fluorescent lights, the seem to get the red tint as they begin to die.
