going to try this post both heree and cooling...not sure best place...
Just bought a golden orb used....the surface that makes contact with the CPU is slghtly pitted in a few places and the gold surface is missing in just these few spots.
Should I lightly sand or lightly steel wool the surface to smoooth out? Does it matter if gold is there or not?
