Slight Forum design change?

I just logged onto Anandtech after my day of work, and noticed something I think is new. It used to be the bar on the left (not the ad, but where peoples names are) was the same color as the message background. Now I notice it is a darker shade of gray. Is it just me that is noticing it now, or has it been like that?

I wouldn't even have noticed. It's actually kinda weird... where the avatar background and the lighter post background are next to each other, it creates a spacewarp sort of thing because there's no hard border. It doesn't do much for distinguishing for me, but that's just my eyes.

I can't see the color difference without leaning in and staring.

This is why I wasn't allowed to make webpages after my first few at my last job. They burned other people's eyes out while being just enough to let me make out differences. 🙂

i think i have been here too long.. - noticed something was different yesterday but couldnt exactly pinpoint what it was.
