How much time should I allocate per slide for length estimation purposes?

I can't remember what the standard is. I think it is 2 minutes.

Anyone know?
 
The myth of time with a slide isn't good. I say you just keep out "filler" info, and concentrate on a good presentation in the timeframe. The slides are there for a visual.

But in my experience, your basic slide with a 3-4 points and explanation takes roughly 90 seconds.
 
I am not new to presentations, but I am trimming down an immense slide library and have to get under an hour.
