wow, I would love to hear from those that have actually bought this (not from the "actual quotes" on that site). Can this site be trusted?

Why do I picture a guy with a hole punch putting holes in a plastic binder? Certainy no mouse feet should cost more than a nickle.

I'd like to know as well. I love the performance of the current Teflon tape I use now, but the tape usually starts to scratch off within a month or so.

I've had them on for about 6 months now on my MX1000. I don't use a mousepad, just my wood desktop. Without the feet, it did not glide at all. Wasn't a pain to move around or anything, but it sure didn't glide. And, funny thing, I may have put them on wrong. I'm sure you're wondering what kind of idiot could screw up a mouse feet install.... well, I neglected to take the existing feet off. I just stuck the new feet right on top. Now, I dunno if this was right or wrong, but it works and it works perfectly. Glides like a dream. And they haven't worn down even a little bit after 6 months. To me, spending $5 for feet was better than $5 for a mousepad since I usually like to use more space than what a pad provides.

OK, so we have one guy who's used them and one guy who likes them. So that's 100% approval! :) I was personally intrigued by the thought of teflon feet that didn't have to be replaced every month (I thought one of the major sells of optical mice was that we'd stop having to do regular maintenance on our mice?), but the cheap-looking web-page and the blurbs and "honest testimonials" ("I work from home and earn $1bn per minute! You can too!" anyone?) put me off. But maybe they're just low-budget.

yea, the one page site just seems a little too, can you say scam? Anyways, has anyone else bought from the site and give their OWN testimonials

I just think these things should be like 50 cents and no more. Its just a tiny piece of plastic. Makes me think i should come up with a scam like this.

You know they are probably going to ship with a 35 cent stamp in it.

.50, 1.00... what's the difference really? If you don't have a problem with the mobility of your mouse currently, don't even worry about it. However, if you find that your mouse isn't moving along surfaces as easily as you would like, trust me, try it out. Yeah, it *is* just a tiny piece of plastic... but it is a tiny piece of plastic that doesn't wear down, is very slick, and is thin (but not too thin)... something that mouse manufacturers can't quite seem to implement on their own.

I admit the website seemed cheesy to me before I ordered, and I didn't appreciate not getting an email with shipping info after I ordered, but the package came very quickly and they work just as advertised. So I have no complaints.

Well, I searched around and found a few other people who bought and loved them. So I thought, what the heck, it's only $4 shipped, and I ordered some. The guy was very helpful over e-mail as well. I will post back when they arrive and I test them with my MX518.

I have used the mouse feet on my MX1000. It is very slick. However, it sticks to the mouse pad(I have the WOWPAD) and you have to give it a good push to get it going again. I have used it for a few months and I just took it good. The original mouse feet is not as slick, however, it doesn't stick to the mouse pad. I hope it helps.

Well, I got them this morning. Shipping took 6 business days, which isn't bad from Texas to Ontario. So far they seem just like teflon - nice and slippy, even on a plain table, although they are definitely better on my Steelpad 4D. They are thick, perhaps 1-1.5mm, so they should last a lot longer than paper-thin teflon tape.

I thought about getting another set for a review, sticking them on a spare wireless mouse I have, and building some sort of jig with my random-orbit power car waxer to simulate months of useage in a much shorter space of time and see how long they lasted compared to teflon. Maybe he'd send a review set for free. And it would just be amusing to see a mouse being zoomed around by a random-orbit power car waxer. I'd have to make a video as part of the review. :)

well, they came yesterday. not bad i guess, but i probably should've ordered the super thin kind, because the kind i got (.030cm thick) lifts the optical sensor .030 cm off of the desk, so it doesn't detect movement, so i have to click in order for the red light to activate again. i have a wireless mouse though, so the red light dims to save battery. others who have regular usb mice might not have this problem. otherwise, it's just as advertised, very smooth and slick. much better than pushing rough plastic around on wood.

this would be a problem in gaming though. but like i said, if you have a regular non wireless mouse it should be fine.

Yeah, the thicker feet screws up the mouse a bit because it raises the mouse like an extra mm...........I took them off my MX518 right away. I've found other uses for them though :)

Well did you take all remnants of the old mousefeet? After you take off the original feet, you need to take out all the stuff or the Slicksurfs will be raised.

I just got mine it..well actually yesterday. Took off the old mousefeet, cleaned out all the crap left behind, then installed the Slicksurf. I can definitely see these lasting for a while. This was much easier than installing mouseskatez and thermal tape.
