I currently have the above card in my machine. I am thinking of adding a second card, the same, to my setup in SLI. Will it be worth it for gaming? Thinking of getting my machine upgraded over time to be able to do VR.

Currently I am running an AMD FX8350 BE, the EVGA GTX760 SC 4gb, 16gb DDR3, Seasonic 850w X Series power supply. Will I see an enhanced capability down the road with the two cards or will I be better off upgrading to a single newer card in the $250 range? Also I am investigating the new AMD CPUs, the RYZEN. I was going to move to Intel for the upgrade but now I'm going to wait a little for all the reviews to come in on the new RYZEN CPU's. The ones I've read sound possibly like a promising alternative in price for the same or better performance.

Better off with one NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 [9 Gbps] or AMD Radeon (4|5)80: lower hassle and power.
