Both eVGA, but one FTW edition (higher clock, etc) and one standard edition.

Can I run them in SLI? Would the FTW downclock, or could I just upclock the non FTW edition to match?

Or better just keep it matched to 2 FTW editions? Was looking at a 2nd used card on craigslist to make my rig SLI

It will work. Not sure on the clocks as I have 2 FTWs and they boost to different speeds in sli. Top card gets a little warmer so is usually a bin or 2 lower

Most likely will run at the slower clock unless you flash the bios on the non FTW to the same core speed.

I have 2 GTX670 FTWs in SLI and they are very fast. Running them with a 3770k @4.5Ghz. Tell me what benchmark and I'll try to run for you.

It'll work well just keep them cool enough to maintain clocks which should be easy as those both seem to expel the air outside the case. Just clock the slower card to match the higher card. Once you go over 80ish (or was it 75c) it will start downclocking to reduce heat.

How warm is your single card when warmed up?

It should be a great upgrade with good scaling games, and potentially cheap used.
