SLI Supported Power Supplies?

I just recently bought a GeForce 7900GT and I am planning to buy a new power supply. I want a good power supply that will one day support a second 7900GT in SLI mode. I found this power supply on Newegg but it is not listed as SLI supported. Is having an SLI supported power supply really necessary for an SLI setup or is it just a scam from Nvidia to make us buy certain products? here is the PSU link.
