SLI setup that beats a single GTX280?

Having been reading that ATI's 4xxxs CF configurations out perform a single GTX280, is their even a sure enough SLI setup that beats a single GTX280 too?

if someone knows of a thread in AT or know a link to a site showing a chart where SLI setups beat out a single GTX280, please lend a hand thanks!😉
 
There's probably quite a few SLI configurations that beat a single GTX 280...

GTX 260 SLI (More expensive than a single card, but only by about $100. This should stomp a single GTX 280)
9800GTX SLI
9800GTX+ SLI (when they are released)
8800GTS 512MB SLI
8800GTX SLI

...granted, there may be situations where SLI doesn't scale well, but in most cases the above would get higher fps than a single GTX 280.

Figure just about any 8800 or 9800 series card in SLi (when it works) should beat the gtx280. Just stay away from the low memory versions. (256 or 320m cards)
