my EVGA 122-CK-NF63-TR supports SLI + 3rd graphics slot ( for future physics cards )...

I do a lot of 3ds max as well as game. Is it possible to run an 8800GTS 320MB in one slot on my motherboard and run a Quadro FX1400.. and just run dual monitors. one from the 8800 and one from the Quadro? ( I know I wouldn't be able run SLI b/c they arent the same card.. )

wasn't entirely for sure if this would work.. thanks for the help!

In general you should be able to run two different cards for multimonitor support without problems, though it is possible that the quadro drivers might be an issue.

Yes, getting off topic, but vinny, how much OpenGL performance difference do you get with your Quadro as compared to a non specialized card?

@ jkresh
thanks for the input, I'll do some research on the nvidia forums to see if there are any conflicts that people know of...

Actually I don't have it yet, I wanted to make sure this would work before ordering one.
