Just bought my second 7800gt co and installed it along with the SLI clip. When booting up into windows and running the nvidia configuration thing, it only displays 1 gpu. Do I have to enable the second gpu in bios or a jumper on my mobo for it to be seen?

I am using a DFI NF4 Expert Mobo.

Thanks.

You need to enable SLi from BIOS. Then you need to enable the second GPU from nVidia control panel.

I have not seen any options to "enable" it in bios, however in device manager it detects a second "video adapter" so I am d/ling the drivers and going to see if that works.

I don't think the option in the bios SAYS SLI literaly. You have to select the setting to split the PCIe lanes to 8x and 8x instead of 1 16x.

It looks like I just needed to update the drivers. Both are showing fine in device manager.

Now the fun part. I gotta figure out how to overclock these puppies :)
