mobo: xfx 680i

i have (1) 560ti GPU right now. wanting to add another(i have the bridge already).

does it have to be the exact same brand or just model?

just same model, but if one has more memory you'll lose the difference. For example if one cards is 1GB and the other 1.5GB you will only have 1GB not 1.5GB and not 3.5GB.
