SLI Multi-GPU Rendering has been disabled

How do I get rid of this stupid balloon popup every time I log into a user account? I don't use SLI and never have. Ever since I downloaded the latest nVidia drivers this has been popping up and I'm sick of seeing it. Make it go away! 😀

Download a different driver. There is a newer one that whatever you have that fixes the problem I believe.
Or go back to an older driver.

Then in the related answers at the bottom click the one about the SLI balloon, in there there's a registry file that you'll download, double click and poof, the problem will be fixed.

same thing happened to me. But use the registry fix not the 91.33 drivers. Unless they fixed the problem with big balck boxes showing up in games.

omg, thanks for making this thread and for the posters who posted the nVidia fix. This has been driving me insane ever since installing ForceWare 91.31. Nice to see I wasn't the only one afflicted with the problem.

Don't get the 91.33 drivers. They arn't as good as the 91.31's. Nvidia's drivers arn't like ATI were each release is an improvement. If you want a newer driver shoot for the 91.37's.

oh, oh...It's only a matter of time till all hell breaks loose...

BTW, for me the 6.7 are not better than 6.6 -- not even close. Especially for Oblivion. Even with only HDR I get like 15 fps less than with HDR+4xAA!
