SLI Gtx 285 + 9800gt - what would happen?

if i plan to get a gtx 285 and have a leftover 9800gt for my new rig, would there be any benefit to having them work together, or would the 9800gt drag the gtx 285 down?

Sli won't let you use them together. You're probably better off using the 9800gt as physx only

Even though SLI GTX 285 will be mostly capable in Phsyx by themselves, might as well throw that 9800 into the Physx spot, I agree. No Physx game will be able to withstand GPU-power of that magnitude!

Yeah you can only use the 9800 gtx as a physx card, but play/get Batman: AA and Cryostasis. The physx effects of both games are fantastic.
