I use a Lanparty SLi-DR mobo as media center pc .
At the moment i use an old set of 5.1 External Surround Sound set of speakers , that i just plug into the Blue " Audio In " Jack . Just the same way you would plug in a set of external speakers .
What i wanted to know is would i be able to set up a better system using the Motherboards Karajan Audio - Theater like 7.1/ 8ch Audio ?
The board has the following inputs :
- Realtek ALC882 8-channel High Definition Audio CODEC
- 6 audio jacks
- 1 CD-in connector
- 1 front audio connector
? True stereo line level outputs
? S/PDIF-in/out interface
If so , what kind of speakers and cables will i need ?
