Is it advisable/possible to SLI two same cards (GTX 560, 570, 580) but of two differen't 'Brands' Such as ASUS, Galaxy, or EVGA?

Or should one stick to the same brand when they want to SLI?

Did they come with any special programs for Overclocking and Fan Control?

If so how did those work out, if you used em?

I just use msi afterburner on both and it works great. When you have two cards installed, the program knows to clock them the same when you overclock them. I just left the fan control for both on auto and they stay plenty cool.
