SLi 8800GTX Setup

You need two SLI connector...
Yes need 6 pin pcie connector ... so that means you need a psu with 4 PSU connector and they can be found on 800W PSU +.

Also forget about installing Vista if you were thinking.. G80 SLI support on Vista very doomed.

That is incorrect. You only need one SLI bridge connector, and it doesn't matter which areas you plug it into.

And yes, you hook up all of the power slots. And if your motherboard has a 4 pin molex connector for SLI stability, plug that in too.

You can plug in any SLI connector but be consistent; meaning don't cross (X) connect them. It would be okay too but doing this way may break your SLI connector.

The SLi bridge can go on either set of connectors. (And it won't snap on at an angle so no worries about mixing up the connectors).

The second poster is confusing the SLi bridge with the two PSU pci-e connectors on each card.

One SLI connector only is needed hook it up firmly, use DVI connector # 1 (if using and LCD) as listed on your other thread on the top card (closest to CPU socket).
