I know you need the same card to SLI but can you SLI a 512 and a 256 8800gt? Another question is can I SLI any 8800gt or do they have to be the same modle number from the same manufacture? Thinking about making the jump so was just looking for some info. I have a 8800gt on order from dell but I don't know if it is coming so I was thinking of buying a 256 to hold me over till I can get a 512 at a decent price because as of the 21st I will be video cardless.
