Hi guys,
today I'm in need for some help...
Rig as below, so 2x6600GT cards in SLI.
Same brand and model, same BIOS, however different board revision/layout
Driver v81.98, XPPro32
SLI-Options in BIOS set to auto (aperture), SLI-mode to dual
Driver setting: Does not matter, happens in any SLI-mode, AA or AF setting
Games: All I tried...3DMark, Q4, HL2, FarCry, FEAR...

In 3D-mode I always have fine lines coming in from the right side of the screen "waving" into the picture. Not fully corrupting it, but annoying.
Yesterday I said what the heck and swapped the cards between the slots. Result: Now the bottom half of the screen is completely corrupted (flickering, discolored, etc.).

Anyone had similar experiences? Resolutions? Help appreciated... :)

EDIT: One more...overclocking is no issue, also happens @ default...

Update below...

Remove both cards. Install one at a time in single card mode of course. You need to check if each card is working correctly on its own. And make sure you use the latest WHQL drivers from Nvidia. I believe they are 81.98's.

I gave the newer card a single run first (to evaluate the o/c potential) and as far as I remember, it ran flawlessly.
The newest drivers are also in use actually (thanks, edited in original post).
Difficult to say, as this may be vidcard, mobo or driver related... :frown:
Anyway, maybe I gonna start from scratch again...removing everything and going step by step all the way up again...

So yesterday I fooled around a bit again and decided to pull the SLI bridge... And heyho, no picture corruption anymore. So I presume the Asus-delivered SLI-bridge may be faulty. Let's see, if I get some replacement somewhere...
The performance hit without the bridge is not too high (300 points in 3DMark05 and nearly nothing in 06), but anyway... ;)
