I have the EVGA 8800GT KO which is no long available. Can use this card with another 8800gt in sli if the other card has lower speeds?

As long as they have same core and same amouint of memory (and bit width)

you can:

A. Overclock one so they both run at the speeds of the higher
B. Downclock one so they both run at the speeds of the lower

It will work across any manufacturer

You don't need to under or overclock either card. They will run fine in SLI at different core/RAM speeds.

aka1nas, do you notice the difference? is it worth another $150?

It's worth it when everything works properly. I have 3 displays and am mostly playing Eve Online atm, so I have only been enabling it when I play a shooter or some other more-demanding title. I actually upgraded to these from a pair of GTS 640s when the GTs came out, and paid a fair bit more for the setup . For $150, it sounds like a pretty decent upgrade.

Ok so I went ahead and ordered an 8800GT Superclocked, going to pair it up with my current card which is a KO. It's another $100 for another KO so I save the cash and will have a KO and Superclocked going the KO is only slightly faster.
