so for years i've tried on my own to clean up my case, but i never get it right. My big issue is the messy PSU cables that i try to tie wrap up and hide. but of course they're always too short...

how the heck do *you* people hide your PSU cables??

please and thank you

hmmmm; i'm guessing the split loom means it's split down the middle? then you just use electrical tape to seal it up?

thanks for the help

If you want to spend the time doing it, you can buy sleeving and heatshrink and go to town.
Jab-Tech has a bunch of different kits. SVC.com actually has them cheaper but I can't really recommend them right now.

Here's a link to a thread where I posted some pice of my computer. link

I used 2 generic sleeving kits but I needed extra 3/8" heatshrink (I ran out pretty fast) Then again I sleeved ALL the wires in my computer.

If you see posts by mechBgone, he really did a bang-up job sleeving his computer. (I think his sig links to it)

If you decide to go this route be prepared to spent quite a bit of time getting it done. The first time is always the hardest.

Well, I bought 2 "kits".
That was enough (except for 3/8" heatshrink I needed another 2')
Really the main sizes you need would be 1/4" (most of the power supply wires) 1/8" fans etc.
3/8 or 1/2" ATX connector.

You REALLY need a molex removal tool. I bought one @ Radio Shack for 7 or 8 bucks.
To remove the ATX and AUX connector they sell tools, but I broke mine as soon as I first tried it. I wound up using staples. (Google search Gruntville sleeving guide)

How much you would need really depends on what you have. My case has 6 case fans, I also sleeved all the pass-thru cables.
