sleeping with my sound card...

I usually don't have my comp on sleep , but whenever it goes on sleep the sound doesnt work when it comes back... this has been happenening for a while now, the card is a diamond mx400 vortex2, and the OS is winme, besides that the sound works fine when it doesnt sleep.

hm maybe its the 300 then, always thought it was a 400. i bought it oem and it just came in a blank box and they said it was 400


edit: its also running on standard au8330 vortex2 drivers

I had a similar problem with my old Yamaha card except a lot of the time my system would crash when coming out of sleep mode. I narrowed it down to POS drivers. Try to get the latest drivers for your card.

drivers for the mx300 can be found at vortex of sound

use the 2048 reference drivers.
