Sleeping Vista won't wake up

Last weekend I upgraded my Vista machine from a 7900GS to an 8800GTS. I installed the latest non-beta nVidia drivers with it. Ever since then, whenever I try to wake the machine out of sleep mode, it will power up,but the screens will stay black. I can tell the system is running (hard drive is being accessed, etc.) but no video is produced. I have to power it off and back on again. It's getting really annoying. Has anyone else had this issue since upgrading?

I don't have that one however if I put vista to sleep the next time I try to shut it down it will hang and I have to manually turn off the power.

I have a similar issue. When I try to wake the computer, the screen just stays black. I usually can "shake" the mouse about 5 or 6 times quickly to start the monitor back.
