I cant fall asleep for the life of me, ever :( It really sucks, but somehow i manage. Just don't allow yourself to sleep in the day, and don't do anything that will pump adrenaline late @ night. Just read, as boring as it sounds, it is worth it after you fall to sleep and aren't dragging your feet all the next day.

If possible, find something to read you truly enjoy. It's the best remedy for you're situation.

I work shift work and I'm constantly having to change around when I sleep. It really messes you up...

Force yourself to go to bed earlier. You may toss and turn, but your body will get used to attempting to fall asleep earlier.
