Sleeping can be dangerous

Two nights ago I went to bed and everything was fine. I awoke about 3 am with pain in my left arm. It got worse over the next two days, to the point I couldn't move it. I went to the hospital and to my surprise was informed I had a dislocated shoulder. I have no idea how this happened, as I was asleep when it started. Anyway, I am now in a sling and have to keep my arm immobile for six weeks. To make things worse, I just started a new job last week and now I'm afraid I might lose it because of my lack of movement. I guess that will teach me to take a good nights sleep for granted.

I had some kind of nightmare last night (that I swore to remember, but can't)... my fiance tells me she turned and saw me breathing frantically for a brief moment... funny stuff. All that I can remember was that I was scared $#itless in the dream because of whatever was happening.

On other occasions, I choke in my sleep and wake up sucking desperately for air for a good 5-10 seconds. Very scary feeling. This has happened about 5 times that I recall.

Strange things happen when your mind goes into hibernation...
