That little Corolla is insane. There is no way I would look at that thing and think it runs anywhere close to eight seconds flat. I found the owner's website for the car but he didn't list how much boost he was running. Anyone know?

The OP's car isn't a sleeper. You see sooped up old Corollas all the time. The Caravan in this is. A sleeper is a car that doesn't look fast or you wouldn't expect it to be fast. The Corolla you can easily tell is modified, a freaking Dodge Caravan you would never think.

there are a lot of corollas around my area, none i know running 2jz's but a good amount running 3sgte, good for about low 10's. Seen some Starlets with massive turbos kinda like the corolla, its a completely quiet car and it just takes off.

Ya, I went and watched the vid again and the guy went 153mph. Looks like he crossed the beams and then eased his way out of the hole. I believe the NHRA and IHRA require a chute for anything that runs 150+mph. Guess I should have watched a little closer before laughing.

It looks like he had an issue with his start - I imagine his car on a good run would be in the neighborhood of all the other cars there judging from his idling down the track for a ways before getting on the gas and still hitting 150.

Heh, I know someone that turbo'd his Caravan. Put some good pep into it. Too bad he was such a crap driver. I vowed after my first ride in it that it would be my last ride with him as a driver.
